Re: HP laptop won't load anything and freezes when I try to open anything.

So whenever my computer does this, Skype doesn't come up nor the onedrive thing. So I'll try to open google chrome or any other apps and my laptop will suddenly freeze but I can still move the mouse until suddenly the loading thing on the cursor appears and my entire desktop locks up and nothing will work. Sometimes this isn't the issue when it's not working and it'll load google chrome, but google chrome will be stuck on loading and I can't load any webpages. If I close Google chrome when this happens, I can't open it again nor any other apps.

I did the hardware and memory test and it failed with a Failure code.

I dont know what to do still not working

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the performance of the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Based on the failure ID you have shared, it looks like a hardware issue and I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link –

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Or else if you are comfortable replacing the memory on the computer you can purchase memory for your computer from HP part surfer and install it on the computer.

Follow the steps in the below article for detailed instructions.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
