I too am having this same issue with my  HP ENVY x360 - m6-w101dx. I have a solid white light. There is nothing else plugged into it. The battery is not warm. It was plugged in the last time I used. I went to bed, woke up and it was a black screen. There are no sounds or vibration to indicate thatbthe hard drive or  anything else is running. I have already tried both Hard Resets. Any of other suggestions?

Please do not take this the wrong way, but always author your own thread when your HP product has an issue.

You referenced the thread at the link below.

If you tried everything that I recommended in the other thread there is nothing else you can do.

Is your notebook still in warranty?

I can ask a Moderator to escalate your issue to the appropriate team at HP.

This is the weekend in most parts of the world, so it will take a few days. Please be patient.

Same situation for me.  Tried everything... no joy.  out of warrenty by 6mos.   Not seeing anything from HP in this thread that helps.  I fear $1,200. down the drain.

Hey there! @njzalaskus,

It certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the laptop. However, please try the steps recommended below and check if it helps.

Check if the pin inside the DC (Charging) port is bent or broken.

Please try the steps recommended below.

Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
For most laptops, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to reset.
Plug the AC adapter back into the laptop computer, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.
Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
The computer starts normally or a startup menu opens.
NOTE: If your computer does not start after pressing the Power button, then a power reset did not resolve the startup issue. See Additional resources for further troubleshooting steps.
If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, and then press the Enter key.
After Windows opens, reconnect each peripheral device that was disconnected, one device at a time, until all devices are reconnected.

Also, refer this article to know more information about no power issues with the laptop. Click Here

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. It is certainly a hardware issue with the laptop.
