I'm getting an error at boot up. After running the diagnostics I get the below Failure ID. Is there something I can download to fix this issue?

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.

Greatly appreciate the response albeit not what I wanted to hear. The laptop is only 3 years old. Not sure how long the warranty from HP is good for but this seems a short amount of time for the hard drive to fail.

Normally one year. Some business machines have 3 years. Did you buy care pack before (for longer warranty), if yes, check it. You can check using:
