Smart Check Not Installed,Short DST not Installed

HP Envy Sleek Book Touch Smart

Hello,

 

Boot Error / OS Not Present / Hard Disk error / 3fo error

 

cant even access bios settings / removing 32gb ssd will allow to go bios settings

 

Hdd boot occasionally, so i brought new ssd but giving smart check and short dst not installed error

 

so what could be the problem?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Hard Drive error.

 

Let's try these steps to perform a hard reset -

 

1) Shutdown the computer. 
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected. 
3) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds. 
4) Plug-in the Adapter. 
5) Try to turn on the computer. 

 

Also, try restoring the computer -

 

1. Shutdown the computer. 
2. Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears. 
3. Press F11 once for System Recovery. 
4. Choose the Keyboard Layout. 
5. Click on Troubleshoot. 
6. Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Restore. 
7. Choose a Restore point or a Restore date when the computer was working fine. 
8. Click on OK to initialize the System Restore.
 

If the issue still persists, test the hardware - 

 

1. Shutdown the computer. 
2. Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears. 
3. Press F2 once. 
4. Go to Component test. 
5. From the list, run the Hard Drive (extensive) test.

i tried everything as you suggested but still the problem exists..and my touch screen too working occasionally

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
