Hi, I have a error message about the smart hard disk when I turn on my laptop. I did the test and the result is:

Failure ID: 94P39F-9NVB79-MFGKHG-60R103

 

How I can fix it ?

(1) Test your hardware Using the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)

- Perform Short and/or Long DST (drive self test), if it fails the drive must be replaced and operating system reinstalled !

- Take pictures of HP Diagnostics drive results (short and long DST) and contact HP Support for service repair.

Hi, I did the test, and everything was good, The only test which FAILED is Short Drive self Test.

Does that mean that I have to change the hard drive ?

Yes you have to replace the drive.

 

Back up all important data. There could be a complete failure of the drive in the near future.

HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support for service repair ( drive will be replaced at no costs )

 

Solution (B)

HP warranty expired:

You should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
