HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f0000 RCTO Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

I originally posted this in Notebook>Operating System & Recovery

But it may be better posted here:  Notebook>Boot & Lockup (but didn't know how to move it, so I re-posted here)

----------

As I normally do, I put the Laptop to sleep connected to its charger.

Later, I couldn't wake-up the Spectre x360 from sleeping with the mouse or its enter key.  I tried its power button, to no avail.  I then tried holding down the power button for a bit over 30-seconds, to no avail.  Its power light remained blinking.

I removed x360's back and disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes.  I reconnected the battery and a BSOD was very BRIEFLY seen, with a message that I was unable to fully read.  The message began with (what I believe to be)The cmos check sum is invalid and thereafter, I believe something like this:  The ___ will reset _____.

Now What?

If the problem re-occurs, I obviously don't want to disassemble the Spectre x360 again to disconnect the battery, to clear whatever problem is occurring.  Any suggestions regarding a permanent fix?

Note:  The Spectre x360 is a little over 2-years old (purchased 1/2022)

Lastly a note to HP:  It would be a huge help if there was a button that could be used to disconnect a laptop's power-input from its battery, without having to tear into the laptop to physically disconnect the battery, to halt the power just to re-boot the device.
