Spectre x360

I recently replaced the motherboard in an HP Spectre x360.  The machine turns on, but does not show anything on the screen (either the built in screen or a connected external monitor).  It turns on both while plugged in or running on battery, but aside from the keyboard backlight and power indicator light turning on, nothing happens - no beeps, nothing on screen.

I've re-opened it up and double and triple checked all the connections and hardware and I don't see anything wrong.

Before I assume that the new system board is dead-on-arrival, is there anything else I can do to diagnose this?

I don't know if it's relevant to this issue, but the reason I replaced the board in the first place is that the built in display stopped working, but the machine was still usable with an external display.  When I pulled the old board out, there was a very visible burn mark on the display ZIF connector on the board.

This sounds like a hardware related issue,

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
