Spectre x360 13-ae013dx
Ubuntu LTS

Hi all,

I've been working on a 13-ae013dx Spectre x360. There's a problem with my keyboard that mostly affects the boot process, acting as if there's a stuck function key. I can see {{26~ repeated when grub is set to cmdline.

It doesn't happen beyond the boot screen unless I use f7 to lower the volume, which always goes to mute until I turn it back up with f8. All of the keys feel consistent when pressed down. Is this a firmware or BIOS issue? It still happens when I fold into tablet mode.

This behavior persists across Ubuntu  22.04 LTS, Fedora Workstation, and Arch Linux. It's particularly frustrating on Ubuntu as the "stuck" key constantly interrupts the plymouth boot animation. I don't run Windows, though I have install media for 10 if that will help troubleshoot.
