Sorry, but this is only a community forum staffed mostly by volunteers and we can do nothing to track or recover missing property. In addition, there is no way to track a lost PC unless you had installed special tracking software.

What I recommend is the following:

1) Contact HP Customer Support, tell them about the lost PC and get a case number

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!

2) Contact the local law enforcement authorities about the lost PC -- provide them all the information they need and show them proof of ownership.  You will most likely need to this to have then return the lost PC to you if they find it

3) When the lost PC is returned, contact Absolute Software to see about getting Lojack for it.  That enables you to report a lost PC and then locate it, once it is then connected to the Internet.

I think THIS article honestly portrays the situation:  https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-track-stolen-laptops-with-a-mac-or-ip-address

Read the information in Step 2.

Sorry, but the only REAL way to locate a laptop is if you have something embedded in it that allows you to find it -- and products like Lojack for Laptops provide that feature.

HP can not track your laptop nor can any of us here on the forum. Unless you have LoJack or similiar tracking software the only course of action you have is filing a police report. I also gave the link above to login to your Microsoft acct page where you can see any devices you have  logged into using a Microsoft acct- if that feature is enabled on the device. If the laptop has connected to the internet it will show general location.
