The Light turns on but the screen remains off

Yesterday I used the pc regularly all day. This morning I tried to turn it on but apart from the LED light of the power button which is always on, the PC shows no signs of life.

When first switched on, a blue screen with a series of codes on the top was displayed. after which the screen went black and gave no sign of life. Trying to turn it back on I get nothing, always LED on but black screen.

Can someone help me?
