The hard drive short dst check failed

Product Name: HP 15 Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
The startup keeps looping and says the PC ran into an error and needs to restart, then it restarts.

Yes you've to buy new one to replace failed drive.

Your laptop came with Windows 10 Home 64 bit.

If you're within warranty, contact HP to replace it for you free of cost.

Use recovery USB/DVD to factory reset OS after replacement. If you don't have one, order them from HP:

You need 2.5 inch 7mm/9.5mm thick SATA HDD/SSD


If you're not within warranty, get help from good local technician as it need major disassembly to reach hard drive bay.

If you've want to try salvaging data from failed drive, take it out. Connect it to another computer using SATA to USB adapter. Use Windows explorer to copy the recoverable files.
