Hello TMNET,
Hmm... not too much information online, but try these updates:
HP USB-C to USB-A Hub Firmware Update
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79501-80000/sp79714.exe
HP USB 3.0 Port Replicator and USB Travel Dock Driver
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81001-81500/sp81476.exe
HP Notebook System BIOS Update
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp87001-87500/sp87005.exe
Let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
Eddy

Hello TMNET,
Hmm... well.:smileyfrustrated:
I feel like a BIOS update would do it so try holding Windows key + B (or V) upon/before startup for an HP automatic BIOS update... But unfortunately, I'm out of ideas.
There's zero to no information regarding this on the Internet and I have no idea what STG is.
I highly recommend contacting HP.
Contact HP Worldwide here.
Phone HP Worldwide here.
Check warranty status here.
If you want to avoid a fee, your best bet would be to contact HP's social media support or wait for an HP Support Forum agent's reply.
Good luck.
All the best,
Eddy
