HP Recommended
Product: Elitebook G1 1040
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In pressing the power on button, either from the docking station or from the laptop directly, the laptop turns on 1 second and then stays off for about 5 seconds and then starts again for 1 second and off 5 seconds etc etc. It never powers on completely. I then disconnected completely the battery and used the power adapter with the exact same result. I have the impression I have a fatal hardware issue from the mother board.  Any opinions?
