The following article discusses Optane memory.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05591811
However, the article appears to be for an outdated version of the Intel software.
I did not purchase an Optane drive when I bought the laptop.
How do I SAFELY uninstall Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management V18.1.1026.0?
How do I disable the Intel Optane software?
The above version does not have any "Disable" function or button.
I believe the Intel software is interfering with the 2nd SSD I installed.
There does not appear to be a way to disable the Optane in the BIOS, either.
Windows 11 (21H2), BIOS F.11 Everything is up-to-date according to HP and Microsoft.
Thanks.

Why you need to disable it ? It does not make any sense at all !

The second SSD is a Samsung 980Pro 1TB.
This SSD has a companion Samsung Magician.
Samsung Magician V 7.0.1 is reporting that there is a conflict with Intel Corporation 18.6.1.1016.
The Intel Driver is related to Intel RST VMD Managed Controller 90AB in Device manager under Storage Controllers.
To resolve the Samsung and Intel conflict I believe I need to replace the Intel Storage controller in Device manager.
I would replace the Intel RST with the standard Microsoft NVMe driver.
See Another post on the subject by myself...
If I Uninstall or disable the Intel Optane, since I never had Optane, replacing the RST with the Microsoft driver should be easy and resolve the conflict, right?
Thanks,
Steve
