Hi @Tda5,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The error message you're seeing: "Network Not Found. Please check your network connection and try again by pressing the power button" typically appears during startup or recovery mode on HP laptops and is often linked to a network boot attempt (PXE boot) when the system can’t find a valid boot device (like your hard drive or SSD).
How to Fix It
1. Check Boot Order in BIOS
- Turn off your laptop.
- Turn it on and immediately press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS Setup.
- Go to the Boot tab.
- Make sure the internal hard drive (HDD/SSD) is listed first in the boot order.
- Disable Network Boot (PXE Boot) if it's enabled.
- Save changes and exit (usually F10 again).
2. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press Esc repeatedly, then press F2 to enter HP Diagnostics.
- Run the Hard Drive Test and System Test.
- If the hard drive test fails, the drive may need replacement.
3. Check for Loose or Faulty Drive
If you're comfortable opening the laptop:
- Reseat the hard drive or SSD.
- If the drive is not detected in BIOS, it may be faulty.
4. Reinstall Windows (if needed)
If the drive is detected but the OS is corrupted:
- Use a Windows 11 installation USB to reinstall the OS.
- You can create one using the Windows Media Creation Tool.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
