Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

When I was playing FIFA, the laptop shut down by itself suddenly and could not boot on afterwards. I noticed that when I connected the power adapter, the charging indicator light is off.

Hello @lwdjfhfl

In case of a valid warranty, I would not recommend disassembling the notebook. You could check with a multimeter if the charger plug, which (normally) is connected to the notebook, has a given output voltage (DC in V). If this is not the case, a new charger must be purchased.

Do not take any further action with the notebook. Please contact <HP Support> for a service repair !

Kind regards

Hello @lwdjfhfl

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

(1) If the notebook has struggled with overheating so far, it could be that the gaming oven is now finally off, i.e. defect due to overheating (mainboard/CPU/GPU, ...), battery short-circuit or defective charger could also play a role. Please tell us something about the notebook's past...

(2) Do you have valid HP warranty ?

Kind regards

Hi, @Ub6424  I don't think this situation happened in the past. And i think I did not let the laptop run all the days. By the way, I have the valid HP warranty.
