WHEA uncorrectable error

HP Recommended
13z-a000 x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a notebook for my daughter in August 2014.  It is a "13z-a000 x360".  Model #G3S32AV.  It had Windows 8 on it but my daughter upgraded it to Windows 10 and then the trouble started.

It keeps restarting and giving the error message "WHEA Uncorrectable error".  Just restarts over and over.  I bought an recovery manager on USB and tried to reinstall the operatinig system but it only gets as far as "Copying files" before it restarts.

Is it a hardware problem?  The mother board?   Sounds expensive.  Of course, it is out of warranty.  Should I send it in to get it fixed or just get a new computer.

I used the Recovery Manager on the USB that I bought from HP (has Windows 8), but the notebook does not make it all the way throught the recovery.  I stops about 2/3 of the way through the process and restarts.   I can't boot to Windows 10 as that is gone.  I'll keep trying....
