What do I do when my laptop says "Boot Device not found"?

My laptop says "Boot Device not found", Hard Disk (3F0), and F2 system Diagnostics.

That basically means that the filesystem on the "drive" has become so corrupted that the OS can no longer read the needed boot files.  This requires hands-on access  by a technician to diagnose and repair the issue -- something that we can not do from here.

The fix could range from something as simple as running a boot repair utility from a USB stick to something as complex as  replacing the drive outright and reinstalling Windows from scratch.

Sorry, but you will need to locate a local laptop repair facility and pay a technician to do this work.
