Literally no one that I could find in HP's forums mentions what issue I have. This forces me to create my own thread. So everytime I turn on the laptop this is what happens:
• Power light flashes for one second and then turns off
• Fans start spinning at Max
• The charging LED is off.
• I can hear the DVD drive's sounds.
• I cannot turn off the computer by holding the power button. I have to take the battery out and unplug the charger.
• The screen does not turn on no matter how long I wait.
I have tested the RAM, charger, battery, and replaced multiple ribbon cables and even replaced the RAM with a brand new one, took out the hard drive, even flashed the BIOS to the latest (F.57), but to no avail.
What's surprising to me is that if I leave the laptop as it is for at least 6 hours or more, it actually works as normal, for once. If I turn off the laptop and try turning it back on without doing anything, it still does the same thing.
I had never encountered anything as complex as this issue before with any PC I interacted with. I pray that someone can help me fix this thing only, it's really important. 😞
