DV6-6118SL
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
the pc does not start now and capslock flashes twice.

I have tried various systems to recover the bios but I don't know which ones should work.
What are the valid precedences for this model?
If they don't work, what can I do?

Thank

Hello,
I had already read this page but the bios of my notebook didn't ask to create a usb recovery drive. I found a link where he explained how to decrypt the bios. I created a usb drive by installing "HP BIOS Update UEFI" and "HP System Diagnostics UEFI" from "software and drive" page.. I inserted the decrypted BIOS file in the "X:/Hewlett-Packard/BIOS/Current" folder. The win + B restore function has started. Finally everything is ok.

Hi @Alexpnp75

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps - HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)

To create a USB recovery drive, download and install the BIOS from this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
