I am hoping that HP will step up on the Spectre x360 motherboard issue that is plaguing this platform. I just had my motherboard burn up also. I took it to a local repair shop and they said that one of the two fans was not spinning due to an HP spacer that is placed around the fan. It had come loose and was rubbing against the fan causing the computer to overheat and burn up the motherboard. I currently have an expensive paper weight. My hope is that HP will make good on a manufacturing defect that caused this issue.
