HP Envy 13-D061sa Intel Core I5-6200U 2.3GHz 8GB 256GB

Hi

Back in 2018 i purchased new battery and in the last months my laptop won't work without the charger plugged in and this message appears on the screen every time I start the laptop.

IMG_5332.jpg

What are my options to solve it?

Is it battery or is it the charger that is the problem?

The laptop works quite good except that issue.

Thank you for your help.

Kasia

The message is telling you that the battery needs to be replaced.

Batteries usually last about as long as their warranty, sometimes a bit longer, occasionally not that long.

Long-life batteries, sold with some of the higher-end computers, might last four or more years.

The original battery was covered by the original computer warranty.

The replacement battery was covered by whatever warranty was offered by the merchant who sold the battery.
