HP-15-da0012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The referenced laptop has an 8th gen. Intel  I-3 and non-removable battery.  Tried to implement HP recommended bios update.  The laptop screen went black without confirming the update took place.  When the power button is pressed, the little power indicator light comes on, but nothing runs.  I followed the directions for Bios update via Win+B buttons.  That brought out the screen and confirmed the update.  After the update is done the screen says "continue Startup"  which I clicked on, but again nothing happened.  The power light stays on, nothing runs, nothing flickers and no sounds.  Is there any hope for this relatively new (approx 1 yr) laptop or has it just converted itself to a frisbee?  Thanks for the help in advance.
