Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried to restore my laptop Windows using the option in Recovery Manager because the laptop ran pretty slow. I chose the option to restore the laptop to the initial state. About 3/4 of the update, I got a message - Restoration is incomplete.  I hit Retry to continue. The laptop restarted but failed. The restoration failure screen displayed again.

I checked the log file and a message states -

There might be unexpected reboot during [Windows setup].

The process will cause CTO panic

because the image might not be normal now...

Based on the above message, it sounds like the Windows image was incomplete such that the reboot failed during the Windows setup.

How can I fix the Windows image? I cannot even start the laptop such that I can copy the entire Windows image. Now my laptop is totally broken.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi:

You can always clean install W10 by making a bootable USB W10 installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
