Hi @Apoele1972 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP 15 laptop doesn’t have an "After Power Loss" or "Power On" option in the BIOS. Here are a few alternative solutions you could consider.

  • Check BIOS Options Thoroughly: Sometimes, the setting can be under a different name or location in the BIOS, so ensure you’ve reviewed all settings under "Power Management" or "System Configuration."
  • External Power Control Solutions:
  • Consider using a smart power strip or an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Some UPS devices allow you to set up automatic startup for connected devices after a power failure.
A smart power strip with a timer can be set to turn on and off at certain intervals, which can potentially restart the laptop if it's plugged in and set to start on AC connection.
    Schedule Power-On with Wake Timers:
  • In Windows, you can enable wake timers that automatically power on or wake the computer at a set time. This can be a workaround if you need it to start up at a particular time daily.
Update BIOS: Occasionally, HP releases BIOS updates that add new settings. Since you’ve updated to F.45 Rev.A, check HP’s support page for any notes on additional power options in newer versions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
