Product: hp 17-by1645ng

Hello all,

 

my friend has an hp 17-by1645ng. When it starts, a black sreen shows error 601 - internal battrie error.

 

I think, the cmos-battery is empty, but I could not find it.

 

Where ist the cmos-battery and which model must I buy?

 

Sorry, I am from germany and my english isn't very good 😞

Error 601 (Internal battery) is NOT for RTC/BIOS battery, it is for the MAIN battery. Please use the following Guide to fix

 

                https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_7041771-7042020-16

 

You may need to buy a new battery (not CMOS battery).
