hp envy does not start when i press power button

hp envy x360 convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

"fan is not working properly, not recommended to continue to switch on the computer, will shut down in  15s" I always see this message when I put on my new hp envy x360 convertible, core i5, 12gb RAM. what is the problem with my laptop

Hi! @tawiah, Welcome to HP forums.

 

I understand that you press the power button on your laptop you are getting error-fan is not working properly and the laptop is shutting down.

 

Try booting into BIOS and try restoring BIOS to default.

 

Steps to boot into BIOS.

 

Turn on your PC keep tapping the F10 key, you will boot into BIOS.

 

From the file tab select restore defaults. Press F10 to save changes and exit.

 

Check if you get the same error on your PC. If you still get the same error.

 

Update the BIOS on your PC and check if the issue persists.

 

Since you have not provided the product number of your laptop I cannot get you the exact drivers.

 

So please provide the product number of your PC, I will try to find the best drivers for your PC.
