hello.
I have a hp probook 6570b and I would like to remove bios password. I tried to clear the cmos by thaking the cmos bettery out it did not work, I also don't recive any code after 3 unsuccessful attempts at log in. The laptop was originaly not mine that is why I don't know the password, it was originaly my moms work laptop after she got a new one she gave the old one to me.
If you have any ideas pleas hellp.

Hi:
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.
That was the only way it could be done.
Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.
Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
