laptop is blank with movable mouse

Product Name: hp notebook 17-f019wm
My laptop turns on and looks like its gonna update but it just goes straight to the login page. i login, then the screen turns blank and you can see the mouse. sometimes its the loading cursor. i can still move that around but after about 20 mins i just get annoyed waiting for it to respond and turn it back off and try again.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • Are you facing this issue after any Windows update?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  1. Boot the PC
  2. Wait 15-20 minutes for the boot process to complete and for the desktop to load
  3. Once on desktop, Download and install HP Image Enhancement for System Login.
  4. http://hp.care/2CsAHyR
  5. Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
