laptop only charging while beeing turn off or in sleep

Hello since yesterday, my laptop stoped charging while useing it. i ve had the laptop for a year and this problem never ocured. it only charges when i close it or put it in sleep. i cheeked the battery useing an hp and microsoft software for the battery life and it was ok. when i uninstall some microsoft software it start charging but the software install itself arround 30 sec later. Everything i did useing the program and reinstalling was done after reading it in someone else complaint on this support page and for him worked. (my laptop has an unremovable battery)

first, you need to run and Test the battery using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics

if the test pass  you can try with an alternate AC adapter If it works fine, the AC adapter has to be replaced
