Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I really need  a serious help here my laptop hp pavilion 17-ab306nf (i5 7gen, GTX 1050, 6gb ram DDR4) goes dead after updating the BIOS, I tried to boot it using multiple ways but even the power light is off, however an IT specialist told me that the BIOS need to be updated manually from the BIOS chipset and  itI really Searched for more than 4months about this specific bios model and I found only the one that needs the laptop to be already working.

Please help me to figure this problem out

@Omarbenlarbi Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that after updating the BIOS  laptop is not working.

Please perform the hard reset and check.

Hard Reset:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3) Remove the Battery. ( not for Built-in Battery computer )

4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.

5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer if it's a (removable battery)

6) Try to turn on the computer and check

You have to perform the BIOS recovery.

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.

3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.

4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK
