Hello guys,

my Laptop seems to have a problem with the BIOS or hard disk.

The product name is "HP 17 Laptop PC 17-c2000 (4V792AV). It's not even old it's about 2 years old.

When I was studying on my laptop, about 2 weeks ago, it suddenly turned of out of no where and I got a blue screen "Boot Device Not Found: hard Disk - (3F0)" (I will include the Picture of the screen and the error message on it). I then pressed the power button and restrated the laptop and everything was alright again. It worked completely fine (I was able to open all apps and programs etc.). I run all the tests and diagnoses HP provides in the "HP Support Assistant" and the "HP" app and it told me that every single aspect was fine including the BIOS and the SSD (Samsung SSD). About one hour went by and it suddenly turned of again while i was working on it, the same erorr message appeared again. I then restarted the laptop pressing the power button and it worked again. I again run all posible tests and instaled a specialized one to check on the Hard Disk and even that showed that it was treated nicely by me, like the operating time was more than fine and the times it was restarted was also very good.

For the past 2 weeks nothing happened and I was able to work on it the whole time, when it suddenly happened again, and I did again run all the possible tests ( I will aslo inculde the pictures of them, but they are in german).

I would really be thankful, if anyone can help me.

Thanks in advance and God bless.WhatsApp Bild 2025-08-20 um 12.44.30_e359756b.jpgWhatsApp Bild 2025-08-20 um 14.39.04_8d57e3f6.jpgWhatsApp Bild 2025-08-20 um 14.39.49_d6cc4ff9.jpgWhatsApp Bild 2025-08-20 um 14.40.05_ccf9b5b1.jpg

Hello, thanks for your message.

The same thing happened today unfortunately, I did what you said and it didn't help.

Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

I did a UEFI Hardware Diagnosis and it showed me that there is no hard drive.
