HP dv6 3125sl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

i have an HP dv6 3125sl

i have installed win 10 64 bit

if I connect an USB stik to the laptop when the laptop is off, and i then i turn it on, the laptop does not reconise the USB stick, it is like if the USB were not connected, however the USB stick receive the electricity from the laptop since the light in the USB stick is on.

While if i connect the USB when have i have loged into Win, everything is fine and the laptop immediately recognise the USB stick.

what should i do?

For this reason i cannot start the Boot from USB

Thank you

@kevin143

I know that the HP dv6s CAN boot from USB sticks because I have one of those laptops and it boots fine from USB sticks.

You need to try booting the USB stick in a different laptop to confirm it boots.

Also, HOW did you create the bootable USB stick?
