white ashy screen after after successful booting

initiallyy laptop didn't boot I open it up and cleaned it and switched the rams to the opposite ports..I started the laptop but I got the fan running and stoping for three time then stopping the booting process completely after doing so for a while I restarted it but then I got weird screeching sounds and white ashy striped screen... I have restarted it againg but now I am getting the white screen only after successful booting..

please help

This looks like a Hardware issue. Since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
