Hey guys .. I have an old Compaq Presario CQ60 -230EV laptop and i want to bring it back to life .. I need please a list of processors to upgrade. Now has a Intel T3400 and 3GB ddr2 5300 memory.. Somewhere i read about the T9300 but i'm not sure ..

A T9400 was offered but there are three different motherboards: A defeatured GL40 chipset board for lower-end processors and then GM45 and PM45 chipset for integrated and discrete video with the "better" Core 2 Duo processors. So run Sisoft Sandra or other spec tool and find out which chipset you have and that will dictate the processor you can use. Specs on your model say it came with 4 gigs RAM are you maybe running 32 bit Windows so only 3 is visible?
