Help!

I have a HP Probook 5320m laptop, I recently went online to order a replacement battery, the search results for the same laptop and battery number FL06 resulted in 2 voltage options.

My question is can a 14.4v battery be used in place of the 11.1v currently installed.

I don't know if the 11.1v installed is the original battery.

The power pack/charger is rated to 18.5V and 6.5A.

Why are 2 different voltages offered?

Yes the 14.4v will work as the replacement for the 11.1v original battery.

There are more than 2 different V's

Manufactured at different times and by different manufactures.

Then you have CHINA knock-offs at different V's

Thank you for your reply.

It has been a confusing situation with 2 different voltages being available for the same model laptop.

So the powersupply will cater for both versions without overheating etc?

You are correct it will adjust to the Volts applied.

It may cost a bit more but that is one of the reasons to buy Original HP batteries.
