15-P209NT (L0D89EA) motherboard issue

Hello,

My laptop's motherboard is burned out and I need a new one. But unfortunately I can't find the same motherboard. Can you recommend a similar or better motherboard model ? Also, is there a place that I can find the compatible motherboards list for this laptop ?

Probably it is a bit old now. Please use page 70 of the manual called Maintenance and Service Guide on the following link to see a list of  System Boards for the series  (Note: the manual says 17" but it is applicable for both sizes, you have to use parts for HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC).

When I bought my laptop Windows 8.1 was preinstalled. So I guess the second one (Windows Standard)  - 799547-501- is my number. But not sure, so wanted to ask your oppinion. What you think ?

Part is N/A and NO LONGER SUPPLIED. You have to source elsewhere such as eBay.

Hello,

There is another code on the board and I thought that its about bios. But as I understood, I should search for the board with this code.

The code is:  DAY16EMB8C0 REV:C

If I can find a board with this number,  may I use it ?

Note: I found a card but couldnt be sure if its suitable or not. Would you share your opinion please ? (782933-501)
