Common problems for Battery

Sometimes you gotta eat a little crow. Look at the Manual I posted on page 33. See to the left of the hard drive there is an actual M.2 slot shown with an M.2 disk inserted. The video showing the motherboard does not have it however. And if the motherboard has a slot for an M.2 in addition to the hard drive, why would you need an M.2 adapter and cable?

But based on the picture in the Manual I am going to say it does appear you can have both an M.2 disk (SATA) and a 2.5 inch drive at the same time. The only way to know for sure is to remove the back cover and look.

Hi,

@Huffer
Sorry to jump in,

@singulaquestion @vmmike1
This FRU remove/replace video applies to your model series: you can notice where M.2 SSD plugs in.

Well these videos will confirm that an M.2 can only be installed in lieu of a 2.5 inch hard drive. Shows a SSD adapter plate in the hard drive bay. It does not show an M.2 slot to the left of the hard drive as in the Manual. I would say my first reaction was correct although I am troubled that HP seems to have used the wrong images in the Manual.
