Pavilion 15-ak010nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop has three usb ports 2 -3.0 and 1 - 2.0. the 2.0 is completely unresponsive and has been for quite sometime. I ran the hardware test to confirm it was dead. I than replaced the USB board (833141-001) that has the dead 2.0 port and a working 3.0 port, Ethernet port and sd card port. Even after replacing the USB board the 2.0 port still does not work. I received the following failure ID: GLR3MK-7SWA2Q-MFPWLK-8D6403, this was ran with the new USB board from hp in my laptop.

What is causing the port to still not work?

Thanks in advance

When Clicking on your link I am asked to login and then select my device. After doing this I am not given any way of contacting hp support. I am shown hp support community and hp service center locator. I would very much like to know how to contact a support engineer to learn why the new usb board i bought from HP didnt fix my problem.

Thank you
