2 drives

pavilion 15T
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm considering a Pavilion 15T with 2 drives: a 1TB hardrive and a 256GB ssd. What's the advantage of 2 drives and which drive would the OS be on? Is it possible to have the OS on the ssd and the data files on the conventional hd?

@tizzy

In such PCs, they come preinstalled with the OS loaded onto the SSD.

While it would then be best to manually put your data files on the HDD to prevent filling up the SSD, realize that by default, all files saved under your profile would be on the SSD, and all files downloaded with Browsers would also be on the SSD.

You would need to go into the various settings and Browsers and change them to point to the HDD for saving files.
