Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I completed the latest Windows 10 super update a week ago.  After reboot, screen was black with the "press the ESC key for startup menu".  I am not able to press ESC, F10, Ctl Alt delete.  I have to shut down and reboot to the same screen.  I purchased a new hard drive, and updated all my files and did a Backup!  Windows 10 super updated processed, and the same thing happened to my second drive!

This PC was originally a VISTA PC but it was not upgraded to Win10. I have a new solid state hard drive with Win 10 and MS Office installed.  I did not install any additional programs except ITunes prior to the upgrade.  I did not have any peripherals attached and nothing in the USB or DVD drives.

I took the PC to 2 local PC repair stores and they were not able to help.  It is too conincidental that this absolutely  happened during this latest monster Windows update.

I contacted Microsoft and talked to 8 people in 6 locations.  The answer is that I need to set up an appointmnet and bring my PC to a Microsoft store 6 hours away for them to look at it.

I am mostly interested to know why this is happening.  I would love to recover my drives.  I am terrified of this latest update.
