Product: HP Omen 15
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Decided to upgrade SSD in 2020 HP Omen 15. Installed WD SN750 nvme m2 1tb ssd into secondary card slot. Does not show up in This PC folder. Factory 512gb ssd is WD SN720 nvme. Board says nvme only in first slot. Is the second slot not for SSD drives?

The new SSD or HDD should have no partition created. After installing it on the computer, you need to initialize, create and format the partition in the disk management interface of the system before it can be used.
