Long story short, I've bought Gembirds' pocket for the 2nd hard drive that I inserted into DVD slot in my laptop. Today I wanted to open up the laptop to get rid of the dust inside. When I tried to take out the pocket I accidentally pulled out the plastic cover (that was earlier attached to the DVD player) attached to the pocket. I tried connecting it again and trying to pull out the pocket, but with the same result - cover deattached and the pocket stayed inside...  I tried grabbing it somehow but I can't - its too deep in.

I thought that maybe i can open up the case and push it out from the inside, but I'm not sure if its safe... I've checked how the inside of my laptop looks like and I know that the pocket is connected with ribbon connector, so I think that the worst thing that could happen when I open the case is ripping the ribbon from the motherboard. I'm not sure if I should try that.
Can anyone suggest what I should do?

The only way you are going to be able to fix this is to open the case. You will not damage the second hard drive caddy. Post back if you need more help.
