Product: HP envy x360 15-cp0598na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There were many similar questions about max ram for envy 15inch with AMD cpu, but always different PN then  15-cp0598na.

 

HP says max is: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 SODIMM,Crucial website says 16GB max.

https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/ryzen_5/2500u says 32GB. can I install 32GB (2x16GB) and will it work in HP ENVY x360 15-cp0598na? Thank you in advance.

Do you believe them ? HP and Crucial sell REAL things to you and they guaranteed 16GB RAM works or you follow someone who just read a book and say some sorts of theory.

 

If you have money to burn, please try. HP won't support you, Crucial won't support you.

HP Recommended

Ryzen 5 system will run 32 gigs. But as stated you will be on your own if you exceed the stated maximum.
