Trying to determine if RAM can be upgraded from the current 8gb DDR4 on my Pavillion 14dh1053tu? What the maximum is if ugradable. Thanks in advance.

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for a similar model to yours...

 

Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | pavilion x360 products | Pavilion x360 14-dh1010tu | Cruci...

 

The report indicates that you can install as much as 2 x 32 GB of memory in your notebook.

 

These are the specs on the model in the report...basically the same as yours.
