Honestly,

Is it possible to add an SSD M.2 2242
on the HP probook 450G2 laptop
with Intel (R) 3205U @ 1.5GHz 1.5GHz processor.

The series has this option

 

M.2 2242 SSD: 120 GB
Set as primary storage if selected.

  • Not available with Celeron or Pentium processors.
  • Not available with WWAN

Please check your machine and make decision.
