Product: HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh1xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hello HP Community,
I have an HP Pavilion Plus 14-eh1xxx laptop with the following specifications:
- Processor: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1340P 1.90 GHz
- Installed RAM: 16.0 GB
- System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
- Current Storage: Existing SSD
I am looking to add an additional SSD to my laptop without removing the existing SSD. I would like to know:
- If my laptop supports an additional SSD installation.
- The type of SSD (e.g., M.2 NVMe or SATA) that is compatible with my laptop.
- Detailed steps or a guide on how to install the new SSD.
- Any potential issues or considerations I should be aware of during the installation process.
Thank you for your assistance!

Hi:
Your notebook only has support for one M.2 Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD with no option to add a 2.5" drive or a second NVMe SSD.
If you need more storage you will have to replace the existing NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
Below is the link to the service manual.
