HP Recommended
HP - 15-dw0000nl / 6EW85EA

Hi,

i know that the motherboard on my PC have a connector for adding a secondary hard drive.

Unfortunately there is only the connector and no slot available. I would like to know which component i should buy for adding a secondary hard drive and where i can buy it.

Thank you in advance.

Regards

The specs of your machine is

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06297215

I believe that should be another way around. Your machine has 2.5" bay for adding 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD but no cable to connect HDD/SSD to system board. You need

  • Hard drive board part # L52024-001       (from your description, probably you need this part too)
  • Hard drive cable part #  L52025-001

Regards.
