Product: Elitebook Folio 9470m Ultrabook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Curious as my laptop has an mSATA socket and i’m curious as to how one goes about adding this feature to a laptop and I understand the benefits are outstanding performance wise.

According to the HP specs I read, your PC comes equipped with an SSD -- and that already uses the M.2 socket.  So, if it is in use, there is no way to add another SSD.

The system is using an old fashioned  drive not SSD drive as the socket is still open.
