Just wondering if it is possible to add a secondary hard drive to HP laptop 17-by3613dx product id: 3C310UA#ABA. The current drive is 256GB PCIe/NVME drive. I would like to keep that drive as the boot and add another drive for games and large applications.

From the Maintenance and Service Guide on the following link
https://support.hp.com/au-en/product/hp-17-by3000-laptop-pc-series/32796716/manuals
which is for the previous series but still applicable. On page 3, the manual says machine supports dual storage therefore you can add 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD to your machine but you need Hard dive cover as mentioned on page 42.
Note: Not all programs and games allow you to store from secondary drive.
Regards.
